Descriptive and analytical study of the scientific production in Spanish language in the journal Oussour al-Jadida during the decade 2011-2021

Abstract

The present article analyzes the scientific articles published in Spanish language in the Algerian academic journal Oussour al-Jadida, from its creation until the year 2021. This analytical review emphasizes a repertoire of bibliographical research specialized in medieval, modern and contemporary history. Our objective is to show the importance of the journal for the strengthening of research processes in Spanish and to raise future research possibilities by continuing the described experience. We are interested in the quantity and quality of articles published in Spanish in the period between 2011 and 2021. First, we define the history of the creation of the journal, its objectives, its goals. This is followed by an analytical reading and descriptive study of fifty-eight articles published in Spanish. The aim is to highlight the importance of the Spanish language for the Algerian scientific production.
